An art therapy session includes:
a short, guided centering practice
an introduction to session theme and materials
a period of quiet hands-on, process-oriented, creative engagement
a supportive, non-judgmental reflection
Sessions may involve: drawing, painting, writing, collage, mixed media, sculpture, and/or movement.

This surrealist game called “exquisite corpse” is a short group exercise that stimulates creative play.
It brings an element of surprise to the therapeutic endeavor; lots of smiles, lots of laughs.
